 A Regular Council meeting was held on May 13, 2026, at the County Administration office in Vegreville.  Council approved the following resolutions:

Bridge File (BF) 72520 Tender

County Council awarded the tender for BF 72570 to Plains Construction for a total project cost of $512,000.00, excluding GST, including engineering, geotechnical, contingencies, and fish capture.

 
Appointment of Agricultural Service Board Inspectors

County Council appointed Merek Dziwenka and Zachary Quinton as Inspectors for the County of Minburn for 2026.

 
Appointment of Investment Manager

County Council appointed ATB Investment Management Inc. as its discretionary investment manager for the County’s investment portfolio and further authorized the execution of an investment management agreement that maintains compliance with the County’s Investment Policy AD 1034-01.

 
MD of Wainwright - Intermunicipal Collaboration Framework Agreement

County Council approved to opt‑out from the Intermunicipal Collaboration Framework Agreement between the County and the MD of Wainwright No. 61, pursuant to section 708.28(1.1) of the Municipal Government Act.

Alberta HUB FCC AgriSpirit Fund

County Council approved to partner with Warwick Community Hall to apply for the Alberta HUB FCC AgriSpirit Fund to put new siding on the Warwick Hall.

Village of Mannville Fire Service Agreement Amendments

County Council approved the amendments to the Village of Mannville Fire Services Agreement discussed in Closed Session.

Auditing Services Request for Proposal Evaluation Criteria

County Council approved the evaluation criteria for the Auditing Services Request for Proposal as discussed in Closed Session.
