Making an Access to Information (ATI) Request

The Access to Information Act allows anyone to formally request access to any record in the custody or under the control of the County.

If you are requesting your personal information, there is no initial fee. If you are requesting general information, there is an initial fee of $25.00. For both types of requests, additional fess may be assessed in accordance with the County of Minburn's Master Rates Bylaw 1281-19. Fees can be paid online or in-person at the County of Minburn Administration building with cash, debit, credit card, or cheque payable to the County of Minburn. 

Please note: If you are requesting records for another person, you must provide proof that you have authority to act for the person (e.g. Guardianship or trusteeship order, power of attorney.)

The County has 30 business days to respond to an ATI request, and the legislation allows for that time to be extended.
