The Hamlet of Lavoy's potable water and 3 bulk water stations (truck fills) are supplied from the Alberta Central East Water Corporation (ACE). The corporation is comprised of twelve municipalities who have a collective interest in providing a reliable and secure supply of potable water to their residents.

The ACE water is drawn from the North Saskatchewan River and treated by EPCOR Utilities Inc. before it is distributed to the Capital Region Vegreville Corridor Water Services Commission. The treated water is then distributed to the twelve municipalities through 350 kilometers of pipeline. The ACE water is fed into each municipality through a trickle feed system and then redistributed to the homes and businesses through the municipalities pressurized system.

Alberta HUB is the Regional Economic Development Alliance (REDA) of Northeast Alberta. Established in 2000 and incorporated as a not-for-profit society, Alberta HUB provides economic development support to its members and increases the awareness of the region as the place to invest, grow and live.

The Crossroads Economic Development Alliance (Crossroads) is a regional initiative formed by four municipalities (County of Minburn, Town of Vegreville, Village of Innisfree, and Village of Mannville) to collaboratively deliver economic development services. Its mission is to promote local business, attract investment, and support community growth through strategic projects like business retention and expansion (BRE), marketing, and industrial park development. The alliance has primarily been funded through provincial and federal grants, with contractor support and a dedicated Economic Development Officer. Crossroads emphasizes regional collaboration, agritourism, and investment readiness to enhance economic opportunities across the region.

East Central 911 is a "not for profit" Society under the Alberta Society's Act and is not an extension of Fire Department. East Central 911 is a stand-alone 9-1-1 Dispatch Centre comprised of 22 different member municipalities located in east-central Alberta.  The purpose is to provide Emergency 9-1-1 and Dispatch services to the people within the municipalities served.  The Administrative and Operations Centre is located in Wainwright Alberta.

Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) is a unique 80/20 funding partnership between the Government of Alberta and participating municipalities or Métis Settlements. Provincially, the FCSS Program receives its mandate from the Family and Community Support Services Act and Regulation. FCSS provides preventative resources, programs, and services that enhance the social well-being of individuals and families through promotion or intervention strategies provided at the earliest opportunity.

Vegreville & District Family & Community Support Services is a partnership between the Town of Vegreville, County of Minburn, and the Government of Alberta.

Mannville - Minburn - Innisfree Family & Community Support Services is a partnership between the Province of Alberta, the Villages of Mannville and Innisfree, Hamlet of Minburn, County of Minburn, and the people of our community.

The MD of Minburn Foundation is committed to provide living accommodations to Seniors who are not able to live independently in their homes. The mandate of the MD of Minburn Foundation is to provide our residents a home-like, safe and secure living environment. The MD of Minburn Foundation serves the County of Minburn and communities of Vegreville, Innisfree, and Mannville.

The Northern Lights Library System (NLLS) is one part of the seven regional library systems across Alberta, helping deliver comprehensive, efficient library services to all Albertans, regardless of where they live. Working together, NLLS libraries in northeast Alberta are able to accomplish more than any single library could alone.

St. Joseph’s General Hospital is a full-service acute care facility serving the people of Vegreville and surrounding communities since 1911.

The Town of Vegreville received $200,000 under the ACP grant in February 2024 to conduct a study to determine the needs and wants for recreation throughout the region. The study consists of steering committee members from the County of Minburn, Town of Vegreville, and Town of Mundare.

The Vegreville & District Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit voluntary organization. Supported by members, its an effective, vibrant organization working to lobby on member's behalf, addressing critical business issues and concerns, protecting member's investment, providing a voice that is heard, and being a business partner. Through the efforts of its Board of Directors and membership, the Chamber assists in the maintenance and development of social and economic standards for Vegreville. All of this is accomplished through the combined efforts of its members.

The Vegreville Attraction and Retention Committee aims to create innovative and collaborative approaches to successfully attract and retain heath-care providers and help keep health care close to home. This committee, which is chaired by County of Minburn Councillor Tara Kuzio and includes Town of Vegreville Councillor Taneen Rudyk, is also made up of diligent volunteers who go above and beyond to support our region’s health care and healthcare providers.  

The Council representative also attends the Vegreville Community Health Services Awareness meetings which facilitates information sharing, networking, and problem-solving between Alberta Health Services and community organizations with a patient focus.

The Vegreville Tourism Advisory Board (VTAB) is working to promote, expand, and enhance tourism development for the benefit of the Community. The Board consists of two Vegreville Town Council representatives, one County of Minburn representative, and eight community representatives including the Town of Mundare.

The Vermilion Physician Recruitment Committee was formed in early 2007 in partnerships with the Town of Vermilion, County of Vermilion River, Village of Mannville, County of Minburn, and Village of Dewberry. The purpose of this committee is to attract and retain heath-care providers.

The Vermilion River Watershed Alliance (VRWA) is a local nonprofit group formed to revive the watershed, which is part of the North Saskatchewan River watershed in Alberta.

The VRWA was incorporated as a nonprofit society in 2015 and made up of local volunteers working side by side in the watershed. The members come from local towns and counties, federal and provincial governments, conservation groups, and the general public. The VRWA is also partnered with the North Saskatchewan Watershed Alliance (NSWA).
