Farmer's Day

June 14, 2024

WHEREAS, we recognize the diligent efforts of farmers as contributing immeasurably to our economy and well-being; and

WHEREAS, farmers work tirelessly year-round, braving the elements, to cultivate, nurture, and harvest crops and livestock, providing a bountiful and diverse array of agricultural products; and

WHEREAS, their dedication and hard work ensure the availability of safe, healthy, and abundant food supplies for our communities, sustaining our families and enriching our lives; and

WHEREAS, farmers play a pivotal role in our economy, not only as producers but also as marketers and exporters, showcasing the excellence of our agricultural products; and

WHEREAS, their commitment to sustainable practices and innovation drives progress in agriculture; 

THEREFORE, I, Roger Konieczny, Reeve for the County of Minburn, do hereby proclaim June 14, 2024, as Farmers Day to honor and celebrate the invaluable contributions of farmers, recognizing their unwavering dedication, resilience, and the vital role they play in nourishing our nation and sustaining our way of life.
