Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) is a unique 80/20 funding partnership between the Government of Alberta and participating municipalities or Métis Settlements. Provincially, the FCSS Program receives its mandate from the Family and Community Support Services Act and Regulation. FCSS provides preventative resources, programs, and services that enhance the social well-being of individuals and families through promotion or intervention strategies provided at the earliest opportunity.

The Intermunicipal Subdivision and Development Appeal Board (ISDAB) hears all subdivision and development appeals for the partner municipalities (Lamont County, Town of Lamont, Town of Bruderheim, Town of Mundare, Village of Andrew, Village of Chipman, and County of Minburn), in accordance with the Municipal Government Act and the Intermunicipal Subdivision and Development Appeal Board Services Agreement signed by the partner municipalities. The ISDAB makes decisions regarding appeals based on evidence presented during a public hearing. 

The ISDAB consists of a maximum of twelve (12) members at Large appointed by resolution of Lamont County Council.
