Eligibility Criteria

Consideration for support through donations is limited to community programs, organizations, municipalities, events, and activities that demonstrate any of the following:

Financial Need: A need for financial support or specific in-kind donations from the County
Public Benefit: Provision of enjoyment and benefit to the general public
Fundraising Initiatives: Local fundraising initiatives broadly accepted as worthwhile by the general public
County Participation: Events and activities where the County of Minburn is a sponsor and/or has Council or County employees participating
Recurring or Milestone Events: Hosted on a yearly basis or recognize significant milestone events
Location: Takes place within the County boundaries, including the Hamlets of Lavoy, Minburn, and Ranfurly, Town of Vegreville, and the Villages of Innisfree and Mannville
Agreement to acknowledge the County's contribution in all publicity-related events or activities related to the activity (could include a photo opportunity of cheque presentation to be shared on social media platforms).

The following are not eligible for support under this Program:

Private functions
Capital facilities and equipment
Operating funding already provided by the County
Youth and adult sports teams and associated programs/events, activities, and school reunions
Programs, organizations, events, and activities that receive support from the County through other programs or policies
