Council Meeting Highlights
August 19, 2019
Council Meeting was held on Monday, August 19, 2019 at the County Administration office in Vegreville. Council made the following resolutions.
External Financial Audit
Council approved that Wilde and Company Chartered Accountants conduct the 2019, 2020 and 2021 annual audits and prepare the consolidated financial statements.
BF 79688 Temporary Repair
Council approved to proceed with the temporary repair of BF 79688 located on Range Road 100 north of Township Road 502. Tender opening for the permanent bridge culvert installation is scheduled for August 29, 2019.
CAO Evaluation Process Policy CC 18
Council approved Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) Evaluation Process Policy CC 18 in accordance with the Municipal Government Act (MGA).
CAO Performance Evaluation Committee
Council established a CAO Performance Evaluation Committee consisting of the Reeve and two Councillors. Deputy Reeve Ogrodnick and Councillor Kuzio were appointed to the Committee.
MSI Capital Application – Purchase of 50,000 Tonnes of Crushed Gravel
Council approved to submit a grant application under the MSI Capital Program for the purchase of 50,000 tonnes of crushed gravel in 2020 with unallocated MSI funds.
Signing Authority Policy CC 7
Council approved Signing Authority Policy CC 7 that establishes signing authorities for agreements, contracts and other municipal documents.
Rescheduling of Committee of the Whole Meeting
Council approved to reschedule the Committee of the Whole meeting from September 13, 2019 to September 16, 2019 at 9:00 a.m.
Recreation Grant – 2019 Funding Allocations
Council approved to allocate the 2019 recreation grant funds as follows:
