WATER ACT: Temporary Water Diversions

Did you know?

Diverting surface water on private land requires approval from Alberta Environment and Parks.

Unauthorized drainage on private land has caused significant water issues for property owners and for County infrastructure. We encourage all landowners to refrain from ‘landscaping’ agriculture quarter sections without first reeving provincial approval.
